Since June 2014, this Award winning Sake series started retailing in Asia.
It is popular in the Europe wine culture, appreciating the unique “umami” taste. It is a beautiful pink golden liquor using Japanese Rice. This special pure rice liquor used double amount of Koji to pull out the umami of rice. The MENKOINA is a nutritious rice which contains a lot of vitamins and minerals compared with modern white rice. In cooperation with the Food Research Laboratory, we studied the optimum formulation and produced sake that can be enjoy with the complex taste and the natural soft rose color by the red pigments in rice.
The power of fermentation with double Koji draws out the taste of rice strongly and firmly. The sweetness is discreet and soft. It has a streak of refreshing tangy taste like strawberries.
You can experience it in Sushi shops, modern Japanese restaurants, Spanish tapas, Italian cuisine, Cheese specialty shops, Bars and so on, gradually it has also been introduced to NON-Japanese shops.
This sake is understood as wine of japan.

Usually for this Bronze series, it uses white Koji like Shochu. This taste of citric acid stands out is citrus freshness and refreshing, you can also feel the complex taste.
That taste is like Fino Sherry.
Just adding lemon juice and citrus fruits to dishes makes this chemistry compatible with alcohol better.
Keep it cool and cold. You can also enjoy it like a champagne cocktail by adding about 30% carbonated water.
